Outstanding Scholarships for Women in Honor of Women's History Month

In honor of Women's History Month, check out these scholarships from organizations that want to see amazing female students thrive in college and their future careers.

In honor of Women’s History Month, we’re spotlighting an ever-growing category of scholarship awards: scholarships for women and female students. As many private companies and organizations create and offer scholarships that align with their corporate goals, it’s no surprise that scholarships for women are on the rise. In fact, many companies are intentionally offering scholarships for women to increase diversity in their industry.

Female students at every education level can expand their scholarship search by simply adding the keywords “for female students” or “for women” to their scholarship search terms and categories. For example, a female student should search “STEM scholarships” as well as “STEM scholarships for female students” and “STEM scholarships for women.” The following are examples of scholarship opportunities for women that students should take advantage of.

CollegeXpress has helped me with the college application process. The tips and tricks for important essays were so helpful. I also gained useful knowledge about college life. Even though I’m fully online, CollegeXpress has helped me develop a sense of how college is in person. The experiences from college students that were featured on their Instagram page have shown the good, the bad, and the “secret” life on campus from a reliable perspective. Not to mention, they relieved my feelings of anxiety about the workload. I can now understand how it can be stressful, but it takes self-control and willpower to get assignments completed on time and with quality.
